LaLiga

LaLiga, officially known as the Primera División, is the top professional football (soccer) division in Spain. It is organized by the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) and consists of 20 teams that compete against each other in a league format. Each team plays 38 matches over the course of the season, facing every other team twice, once at home and once away. The league operates on a promotion and relegation system with the Segunda División, where the bottom teams are relegated to a lower division and the top teams from that division are promoted. LaLiga is one of the most prestigious and popular football leagues globally, featuring prominent teams such as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, along with a rich history of competitive play and significant international following.
