Nogomet

Nogomet, also known as football or soccer, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. It is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, originally codified by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). The objective of the game is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net. Players primarily use their feet to control the ball, but they can also use any part of their body except their arms and hands, with the exception of the goalkeeper, who is allowed to handle the ball within their penalty area. Nogomet is widely regarded as one of the most popular sports in the world, with a massive following and significant cultural impact in many countries. The sport emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and physical endurance, and it includes various competitive levels, from local amateur leagues to international tournaments like the FIFA World Cup.
